{"id":51,"date":"2020-09-02T14:55:23","date_gmt":"2020-09-02T17:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnpdia.embrapa.br\/methane-co2-products\/?page_id=51"},"modified":"2021-01-13T18:18:56","modified_gmt":"2021-01-13T21:18:56","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cnpdia.embrapa.br\/methane-co2-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"51\" class=\"elementor elementor-51\" data-elementor-settings=\"[]\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-section-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-16b8f41 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"16b8f41\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6992456\" data-id=\"6992456\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c93695a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c93695a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">In 20 years we are expected to reach the Natural Gas Golden Age, when methane will play a leading role as primary industrial feedstock.\u00a0Hence, this Workshop summarizes the efforts of FAPESP Thematic Project no. 18\/01258-5 to develop fundamental and applied knowledge for the catalytic conversion of CH<sub>4<\/sub> by oxidative routes, as well as the utilization of CO<sub>2<\/sub> a greenhouse gas present in natural gas (and also by product of methane reforming).\n\nThe Research Lines (RLs) includes chemical catalysis and photocatalysis, aiming to address the significant challenges in the CH<sub>4<\/sub> partial oxidation to methanol.\n<ul>\n \t<li>RL-1 involves design, preparation and characterization of Cu and Fe-based structured catalysts, construction of reactors, and catalytic tests;<\/li>\n \t<li>RL-2 is developing photocatalysts based on TiO2, g-C3N4, ZnO, BiVO4, and BiWO3.
